Sharjah is the cultural counterweight to the rest of the Emirates: heritage fabric, museums and institutions rather than towers, and a photographic brief that rewards patience over spectacle.
Our connection to the emirate runs partly through teaching. Shoayb Khattab has led workshops with Xposure, the international photography festival held in Sharjah, on how architecture, light and human presence resolve into a single frame.
Commissioned work here tends toward the cultural and institutional end of what we do, where restraint matters more than production value.
