We write, produce and direct our own films, and produce for others. That work is the reason the commercial side of the studio looks the way it does: the discipline of making something that has to hold an audience for its whole length carries over.
Producers and production companies needing a partner in the UAE or Saudi Arabia.
Cultural bodies and funds commissioning original narrative work.
Brands whose ambition is genuinely a film rather than an advertisement.
Story first, and honestly assessed. Most projects that fail do so at script stage and are then expensively rescued in post.
We keep development, production and post under one roof, so the thing that was written is recognisably the thing that gets delivered.
Children of Barzagh, which we wrote, produced and directed, premiered at the Red Sea International Film Festival and received its Special Mention Award. It went on to win First Prize for Fictional Film at the Central Illinois Film Festival, and was selected as the opening film at the Oscar-qualifying Alexandria International Film Festival, where it received the Special Mention Prize.
It has since screened at the Arab Film Festival Zurich, Noci Film Festival and the 24Frame Future Film Festival, among others. The film was animated frame by frame, which is a decision that only makes sense if the story justifies it.
Short and feature narrative work, in live action and animation. We take projects from development through to festival delivery, including the parts that are unglamorous but decisive: casting, scheduling, and a post pipeline that does not fall apart at the deadline.
For international productions shooting in the region we act as the local production partner, covering crew, locations, permits and logistics.
We take narrative films commissions across the United Arab Emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah, and across Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Medina, AlUla, NEOM and Diriyah. Travel, permits and local crew are arranged as part of the production.
Yes. We produce our own work and act as production partner on projects led by others.
Yes. For international productions shooting in the UAE or Saudi Arabia we handle crew, locations, permits and logistics on the ground.
Both. Children of Barzagh was hand animated frame by frame; other work is live action.
We deliver to festival specification and advise on strategy, drawing on our own festival circuit experience.
