PR & Media Relations

The audience for architecture PR is small and specific: editors, awards juries and the institutional clients a practice wants to be shortlisted alongside. We build the press material and the relationships to reach exactly that audience, not a mass one.

Who this is for

Architecture and interior practices who want press coverage, awards recognition and to be published in the outlets their peers read.

Developers with a launch or repositioning who need coordinated press alongside the marketing and sales material.

Studios whose work is strong but who have no existing relationship with editors or awards juries.

How we approach it

Press material is prepared to the standard editors and awards juries expect, because the same studio that writes the release also produced the photography and film behind it.

We build toward specific, relevant outlets and juries rather than a broad, generic distribution list.

PR for the built environment

Architecture and design coverage runs on relationships with a small number of specialist editors and awards juries, not mass media reach. Being seen by the right hundred people matters more than a wide distribution list.

That means press material has to hold up to a technical audience: accurate project data, properly credited photography and a narrative that survives an editor’s scrutiny.

What this covers

Press strategy

Positioning and a plan for which outlets and juries actually matter for this practice.

Media relations

Outreach and relationship-building with editors covering architecture, design and real estate.

Awards submissions

Material and narrative prepared to submission standard, drawing on our own award-winning production experience.

Press kits

Project data, credited photography and narrative packaged to the standard an editor expects.

Launch support

Coordinated press material for openings, handovers and sales launches.

Reporting

Coverage secured and what it means for the next cycle.

Why it sits alongside production

Most PR agencies write the release and then wait on a separate photographer for usable images. We produce the material ourselves, so the press kit is never held up waiting on a production schedule outside our control.

It also means the same photography and film built for a launch can be reused for awards submissions and the practice website, instead of commissioning coverage three separate times.

Frequently asked

Yes. We prepare the material and narrative to submission standard. Our own work has been recognised by Architizer+, LOOP Design Awards, APALMANAC and Créateurs Design Awards.

Yes. Media relations work does not require us on site the way a shoot does, and we work with practices across the wider region.

Both. Press material is written and produced by the same studio, which is the main reason to run PR alongside production rather than through a separate agency.

Both arrangements are common. Ongoing media relations suits a retainer; a launch or a single awards cycle is usually scoped as a project.
