Where Clinical Excellence Meets Human Story
Where Clinical Excellence Meets Human Story
The filmmaking approach for this project was built around one central challenge, making a hospital feel warm, aspirational, and deeply human on camera. Fakeeh University Hospital is not a conventional healthcare facility; it was designed to function more like a five-star hotel than a medical institution, and the documentary had to reflect that ambition without losing sight of the serious, purpose-driven world it operates within.
The film was structured around the people who know the hospital best, the Vice President, the Director of Patient Experience, the Director of Operations, and the architect behind the design. Each interview was approached as a conversation rather than a corporate statement, filmed in the spaces they were describing so that the environment itself could speak alongside them. Sitting in the glass atrium lobby, walking through the clinical lab, or standing beside the Herman Miller furniture installations, these voices carried the authenticity that only comes from genuine ownership of a project.
The goal of this documentary was to position Fakeeh University Hospital as a landmark moment in healthcare design, not just for the region, but globally, and to tell the story of how Herman Miller’s partnership was instrumental in making that vision a reality.
