Where Architecture Meets Heritage
The approach for Diwani House was rooted in reverence for the craft of the design, and for the cultural story embedded in every detail. Shooting both photography and video across the interior and exterior demanded a dual visual language: stills that could hold the weight of a single perfectly composed space, and moving image that could carry a viewer through the home as an experience.
For the exterior, the focus was on geometry and light capturing how the architecture sat within its environment, how shadows fell across Arabic inspired facades, and how the structure commanded its surroundings with quiet confidence. Golden hour was prioritized to bring warmth and depth to the stone, wood, and ornamental details that define the heritage aesthetic.
The goal of this project was to create a definitive visual record of Diwani House one that could serve the architect, interior designer, and client as both a portfolio asset and a lasting document of the completed work.
For an Arabic heritage-inspired private villa, the visual output needed to go beyond standard property photography. The aim was to capture not just how the space looks, but how it feels the sense of warmth, rootedness, and cultural pride that informed every design decision from the courtyard layout to the ceiling details.
