Umrah Journey is a comprehensive Islamic documentary project conducted in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Over a dedicated 10-day period, our team was granted full access and official permits by the Alharamin government to visually capture the sacred Islamic sites of the city.
Each day, we meticulously documented the spiritual and architectural significance of these revered locations, ensuring every aspect of the pilgrimage experience was authentically preserved.
The resulting visual archive not only celebrates the profound heritage of Madinah but also supports the ongoing mission to share the city’s unique spiritual atmosphere with a global audience.
The primary objective was to create a rich visual archive of Madinah’s Islamic landmarks, focusing on delivering: Over 100 high-quality video clips (each 12-20 seconds long, with 2-3 clips per video), more than 50 dedicated videos for each significant site visited. These deliverables were intended to support the mission of promoting Islamic heritage and facilitating a deeper connection for viewers with the holy sites of Madinah.
The Umrah Journey project goal was to foster a deeper global appreciation for Madinah’s rich heritage and spiritual significance. By offering unprecedented visual access to the city’s sacred sites, the intention was not only to highlight the profound historical and religious importance of Madinah but also to promote intercultural understanding and respect.
